I can speak from experience that Americans don’t wear hats at weddings, Ian. At my wedding to The Special One, one side of the wedding was be-hatted, the other side saw not a single hat in evidence.
I noticed that on some of the dress sites. I like the pretty hats, but you’re right… I rarely see anyone in them. Ever.
